Privacy
This page describes what information is processed when you visit thekanjo.com, the website for The Kanjo, a video game in development published by Daineku (daineku.com). It covers only what this site actually does.
What this site is
An information site about a game in development: a short description, footage, development updates and links to our channels. There are no visitor accounts, no purchases and no forms that ask for personal details.
Server request data
Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider that processes the technical data a browser sends with each request — your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. That data is used to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure and reliable. It is not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
The public site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising systems.
The administration area used to edit this site is restricted to authorised editors. Signing in to it sets an authentication session cookie; nothing about ordinary visitors is stored there.
Embedded services
Some parts of the site are provided by third parties, and using them means those parties process data under their own privacy policies:
- YouTube. Videos are shown as a still image until you press play. Only then is YouTube's player loaded, through youtube-nocookie.com.
- TikTok. Recent clips are shown through TikTok's official creator embed, which loads as you scroll to it. TikTok may set cookies and collect data when its embed loads.
- Patreon. Development-log entries are read by our server from Patreon's public API and shown here. Viewing this site sends nothing about you to Patreon; following a link to Patreon is governed by Patreon's own policies.
Images and media
Images on this site may be delivered from Cloudflare's network, which processes request data in order to serve them.
External links
Links to other sites — our channels, the publisher's site, stores — lead to services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own.
Content editing
The site's content is stored with a hosting database provider and edited by authorised people at Daineku. It contains no visitor data.
Changes
This page will be updated if the site starts doing something it does not do today. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
